I'm Steven Short (hence the company name). I've loved content since before we even thought about calling it that. I was an avid childhood reader of Monster Fun (and Twinkle) moving on to the NME and The Face, which convinced me I wanted to work on magazines – I've been hooked on print and digital content ever since.
I've worked in publishing/content marketing for more than two decades and still love thinking of ideas and seeing them come alive on paper or screen.
I create award-winning content in print and online for brands in the worlds of interiors, property, design, travel, luxury goods and gourmet living. I've worked on pitches and launches, weekly, monthly and quarterly print titles and their digital equivalents. I've also published four collections of themed short stories by established and emerging writers and am active on substack: stevenshort.substack.com
